About The Vine at Tuscan Hill

A Little History -- Tuscan Hill has served Springfield and Southwest Missouri for a full 11 years in March 2020.  We have hosted every imaginable celebration from weddings to executive leadership conferences to nonprofit fundraising to direct sale product parties to women’s retreats to showers, birthdays, anniversaries, retirements and baptisms, and so much more. 


A Purpose Shift -- And while we will always serve our local community in all of these ways, we are transitioning and positioning to become known locally, regionally, nationally, and perhaps internationally, as a Conference, Event and Retreat Center. To better describe our shift in primary purpose, we have added depth to our name with just three small words --

The Vine at Tuscan Hill.” 


Inspired by John 15:5, we want “The Vine at Tuscan Hill,” to positively impact not only our local community but to expand its reach to other communities and regions. We want “What happens at The Vine” . . . to  have exponential reach to positively impact well beyond the 12 acres here!


We have to expand to fulfill the purpose  -- When construction is complete, individuals, businesses, nonprofits and churches will be able to book our 6000 sf Conference, Event and Retreat Center.  Tuscan Hill will also bring speakers and musicians to our stage. Those events will be open to the public. The Retreat Center will host multi-day events with lodging for leadership and staff.

New Facilities Detail --

The existing building will house our large commercial kitchen and with that, we will be able to prepare fresh for all events.

A hallway will connect the existing building to a new 6000 sf structure with a mostly open floor plan to accommodate larger events. Within that large structure will be movable partitions to accommodate for smaller business meetings and other gatherings throughout the week.  The current 3600 sf concrete tent pad will become the patio to the new 6000 sf structure. 

The buildings will be designed to follow the architectural style and design of the home.  The grounds will be similarly manicured and landscaped with sidewalks added. We have plans for a vineyard to be planted on the northern facing slope on the front lawn. We have plans for flower gardens for fresh floral arrangements, as well as herb gardens to provide fresh ingredients for our culinary staff.

Tuscan Hill is a gated estate dramatically situated atop twelve quiet, private, rolling acres. Though construction completed in 2006, the distinctive architectural design and decor of the home on Tuscan Hill exudes a timeless Italian/Mediterranean-style ambiance. 

We have indoor space for up to 80 guests for events such as executive/leadership offsite meetings, couples and women's retreats, micro weddings, celebrations of life, and small groups of every kind. We have outdoor space for up to 240.  We offer overnight lodging options in some of our suites.

The Grounds – As the gate opens, the home on Tuscan Hill becomes more visible at the top of the long, curved lane with a deep forest to the right and a more manicured lawn to the left. The property boasts a variety of idyllic settings for your outdoor event. Tuscan Hill has hosted numerous nonprofit events, as well as corporate and wedding events. We’ve counted Fourteen (14) different ceremony locations on the property where couples have visualized their wedding ceremony!

Clients typically choose between two reception spaces. One reception space is the 4300 sf of open patio space on two levels. The top level has an outdoor kitchen with serving area and a large dance area. The lower level patio area includes a beautiful blue pool with a 14’ water fountain. Another reception option is our 3600 sq ft white tent, 18’ peak, 7’ walls, concrete patio flooring, equipped with lights, fans and patio heaters. Both the tent and the 2-level patio options can accommodate 240 guests at round tables.

The Main Floor is comprised of 2800 sf of five unique, free-flowing, interconnected spaces perfect for special gatherings. For larger events, Tuscan Hill’s Main Floor is open for clients and event organizers during the preparation hours of the day. Once the reception is underway, the lounge and restroom closest to the reception space remain open for guests.


For smaller events, the Main Floor,  can accommodate up to 60 guests seated at reception tables.

Ready in March, 2020, is our new indoor space for up to 75 guests.

The Second Floor – When you book Tuscan Hill for your wedding, the entire private floor is yours for the day! This luxurious 2500 sq ft private retreat is one of Tuscan Hill’s greatest treasures. You and your bridal party have it all to yourselves to get ready for the special event! Amenities include a chromatherapy spa, steam shower, bidet, fireplace, wet bar, refrigerator, bride’s lounge, groom’s lounge, double staircases, a Juliet balcony on the front and a large patio balcony on the back. 

Consider Tuscan Hill for small events such as couples retreats, executive retreats, photo shoots, offsite strategic business planning, engagement parties, nonprofit board meetings, conferences, church events, weddings and receptions.
